ACDelco 11A391 Professional Front Side Door Window Regulator Assembly Reviews
By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: ACDelco 11A391 Professional Front Side Door Window Regulator Assembly (Automotive) Regulator design seems to be an improvement over OEM as mentioned in other reviews, but my experience to date is the motor is what fails. Motor pigtail on ACDelco unit was not long enough to reach connector bracket; I removed bracket from door mount and that solved the problem. Unit seemed to work fine upon installation and hopefully will continue. By em tre (AZ) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: ACDelco 11A391 Professional Front Side Door Window Regulator Assembly (Automotive) This is the 4th window regulator I've had to put in my Protege5. Previously I've only used Mazda genuine parts and each failure occurred where the cable makes a 75 degree turn at the up/down track. This AC Delco has a pulley mounted at that point which leads me to believe it won't fail there like the Mazda ones (which didn't have a pulley). The regulator bolted up properly but I did experience one issue during installation. The electrical connection appeared too short. After removing a piece of black electrical tape, which can be seen in the picture wrapped around the motor, there was enough wire to connect. |
