Amazing EBC Brakes DP31133C Redstuff Ceramic Low Dust Brake Pad

Product Description

Low dust EBC Redstuff is a superb pad for fast street use and targets high HP imports, muscle cars and prestige european cars. EBC Redstuff ceramic pads reduce dust emitted by OEM pads by approx 80 percent. Redstuff pads also reduce rotor wear so that rotors and pads last longer whilst delivering great brake performance. For optimum lifetime in track use EBC still recommend drivers to upgrade to their Yellowstuff or even the new Bluestuff range but if fast street is what you need, EBC Redstuff Ceramic is the pad to choose.

  • Lowest dust pad in range
  • Ideal European vehicle brake upgrade
  • High friction low heat fade
  • Great for fast street and premium sedan
  • Easy installation

I own a 2002 Toyota Solara SLE and have installed Brembo slotted rotors. I have tried both the EBC RedStuff and GreenStuff pads. While I love Toyota products, I have always felt that their braking systems have poor modulation and long stopping distances. Compared to stock pads, the RedStuff pads greatly reduce stopping distances and I have noticed a decrease in brake dust, particularly over the GreenStuff pads. The RedStuff pads take longer to bed, so expect substandard braking for the first 500-750 miles. Also, the pads will squeal when wet for the first 3-4 thousand miles. I didn't install the pads, but two mechanics said that they installed easily and without trimming. My brakes shudder under panic stop conditions, but that is related to the ABS system not playing well with slotted rotors. The 2002 Solara is very front biased, so I use less aggressive pads on the rear - but these are great front stoppers.
