Initially I thought it would look cheap and plastic but to my surprise, it doesn't. It looks great and unless you actually know it's not chrome or I say it isn't chrome, you cannot tell. Shines nicely and cleans up well. It has maintained it's color throughout many washings too. Highly recommend this product. The cover was easy to install, I'm a female and usually cannot do these types of things but I was able to do this with no help!  too expensive for quality, May 17, 2012 This review is from: Putco 400931 Chrome Trim Fuel Tank Door Cover (Automotive) shipment was fast, however once I received product, I feel it was not worth the price that I had paid.
