The Monroe Sensa-Trac strut with PSD (position sensitive damping) and the Safe Tech system combines our exclusive precision tapered grooves in the pressure tube with application engineered valving and Fluon banded piston to improve the ride, handling, and safety characteristics of the vehicle.

Each strut includes instructions that are (for the most part) adequate. No instruction given for rear seat removal, no torque given for stabilizer bar link, and no tips given on how to hold strut during disassembly/assembly. Tips from my experience follow:
Friction sockets hold front edge of rear seat. Feel for location, grip close to sockets and pull straight up to disengage. Feed seatbelts down through slots in seat and remove seat. The 4 bolts holding seat back are now visible. Remove bolts, slip shoulder belts off to sides, and raise seat back vertically to release from drop-in recesses. Remove from car. Nuts securing top end of strut are about 4" below shelf behind sound deadening material.
